Ok i will be more specific.
I have a Cosmote Move (Romania) which is similar to Alcatel OT 908.
The internal memory is 150Mb. Just reading emails and navigating this memory is getting full in 3 months.
Erase cache is not a solution because the specific data is retained in the memory and is getting full.
So the phone is very wrong designed to use Android 2.2.2. The memory is too small for Android. This is a generic problem for small android phones.

Why do I need to mount a partition SD card ? Because I want to use the link2SD software.
Why do I need the link2SD software? Because this app is moving all the application on the SD card and I can install more apps.
Is there a problem if the apps are moved to SD, may become slow in running apps ? It does not matter for me because I prefer to have a slow app instead of heaving nothing ......

If I install a GPS software (iGo) it takes 40 Mb of internal memory.

I tried Titanium Backup but is moving only a part of app on SD not all the cache.

If anyone has another ideea how to make this phone to work, please tel me.

Apps2SD is the app you want to check out. And certain apps will move more to the SD card than others. My Motorola Droid has 256MB internal storage and I have less than 120MB of available storage to me. I'm constantly moving apps to the SD card and I don't need to have a partitioned card.

I don't know how you are doing this trick ......

Man, I have Apps2SD and I move some of the apps, if I had only this moving options I could install only 5 apps, I think.Searching deep the net I found Titanium Backup which helps me to move all the apps on the SD, so I moved them, but the problem is not solved. I have only the strictly necessary apps installed and the memory is 60 Mb. I can not do any updates for apps like maps because it takes 20 Mb of memory, facebook update is like 5 Mb, so I keep them as they are. Now I am afraid to install iGo app for GPS because of full memory warning. Last time I installed iGo I had to hard reset the phone because I could not get rid of full memory warning, even uninstalling all the installed apps ( some data still remained in internal memory). Having a phone like Alcatel OT 908 and a lot of other phones with a small internal memory is like having the last edition of S Classe Mercedes but with only 5 litres fuell tank. Who would like to have this car ???? The only solution I see is to hard reset the phone and loose all the apps every 3 months...... Someone has another ideea ? Very bad designers dd

The trick is to move the Dalvik cache to SD, so the phone memory remains clear. This can be done only with link2SD and having second partition on SD installed. Second partition is not working on Android 2.2.2 Froyo. This is my problem .......

I have no problem installing Maps to the SD card. Is the option grayed out or are you getting an error when trying to move with the App Manager?

    Yes I am rooted.
Yes I moved all the apps on SD card including maps. I left on the phone only the widget Battery.
So all the apps are moved on the SD card (thanks to Titanium Backup), but a part of each app is still on the phone. That part of data is filling the phone memory for every app installed or updated.
I see SD partition is supported on Android 2.1 but not suported on Android 2.2 (says SD card corrupt and is unmounting it, untill you format it in one FAT partiton). Man .... i see the guys who make this software does not use it at all on their phones. Or they all have Galaxy S with 2Gb internal memory, and they do the software to fit with these phones.

I am very amazed how they are not able to do a software to connect the phone to internet with USB cable like Windows mobile

The science is good but not everyone are able to do it.

It's called tethering and carriers consider it illegal.

Clean out your dialer cache, your text storage, and any other bit of data/cache that you don't need. You'll be surprised how much storage you free up.
