Newegg releases Android App
Good news for Newegg customers! The popular online tech retailer announced their Android App today via Facebook:
Introducing the Newegg Mobile - Android App. It's version 1.0, so if you have an Android phone, we'd love to hear your feedback and how we can improve it for you.
We tried to pack as many standard Newegg.com features in as we could, including guided search, wish lists, images and reviews

I have been messing around with it a little bit. So far...
Pros:
>Looks and feels just like their website.
>Much faster than using the website.
>It has most of the features the website has, that I have seen so far.
>Can look at the last 5 Recently Viewed Items, I don't think the website has this, maybe it does.
Cons:
>I am not a big fan of gestures and wish there was a way to turn them off in the app. Getting kind of annoying that I see this yellow line every time I'm scrolling.
>When looking at the customer reviews on a product, I couldn't find a way to look at just the 1 or 2 star reviews like I can on the website. It looks like it just automatically shows you the 5 star reviews first. Most of the time you want to see the 5 start ones, but I like to be able to easily look at the 1 or 2 star ones to see why they reviewed the product so bad.
>When going into a certain section like "Home > Computer Hardware > CPUs / Processors", on the website you get options to look at "Combo Deals" for CPUs, however I found no way to do this on the app.
>There is no landscape mode when you turn your phone on its side. Not a huge deal for me, but I know some people have to have their phone in landscape when browsing something.
Are you able to mirror a thread into another section? Just noticed there was an "App Announcements" section here and was wondering why this didn't show up in there.

This will be great for obsessing over the details when trying to build a new system. I can see myself missing my stop on the train because of this app!
