    Not enough memory when moving apps

    I installed App2SD and each time I try to move a file (as small as 686KB) I get "Move Application Failed to move application. There is not enough storage left". I have 5GB open on my SD card. But only 21MB left on the internal memory.

    Suggestions?

    Try using the CM built-in moving instead of Apps2SD. You'll need to enable the "move all apps" in the CM settings.

    I have application moving checked in the CM settings. Anything else? I thought I might need to partition the card and separate out 512 MB.

    Oh, no, partitions aren't needed. I can't figure out what the problem is, though. There might be a bug in the Aria's implementation, for all I know.

    Are you trying to move a copy-protected app, by any chance?

    No, I don't believe they are.all protected. Just frustrating that some move to SD card and some don't. Could be Aria could be unstable nightly. Now wireless is acting up. Had to reboot and reentered the wep key.

    Yeah, try the next nightly when it comes out as it might help some of the problems.

    And bring up the issue with the CM maintainer for the Aria. They might be interested in hearing that the A2SD isn't working perfectly.

    Checked out several apps that can move the apks from phone to SD card. Although, I thought I saw that if the apps were made prior to API Level 8, then it might not work with app2sd and won't install on the SD card. Is that correct?

    Deleted and reinstalled a couple of apps and was able to move 4 out of 5 before the not enough storage message popped up again
