Envious of Honeycomb’s cool unlock feature? Now you too can have it at your fingertips regardless of which Android device you’re using. Developer SunPengfei has come up with a nifty little replica of the feature and it works great. Just download the app from the Android Market. Next step, just enable it and you’re done. At any point if you wish to return to your old unlock screen, just disable it. The developer also promises that future releases will add a “more colorful lock screen”.

I couldnt get it to replace the stock lock screen. even after using no lock from the market. Hmm

I tried this on Samsung vibrant and my multi boot HTC HD 2. Works okay on vibrant but has ads and I have to unlock my normal lock before I can unlock this lock on HD 2. So that's double lock but no ads.

That's weird. I installed this and I'm not getting double lock screens. Only this one shows up. Also I see no ads, due to having ad blocker installed.

Been using it since the day I posted this, no problems here.

The vibrant I will just grab an ad blocker. On HD 2 I'm not worried because I'm putting it away after next week.

It may be device-specific. As in it works on the DX but won't work on the Charge.
