Yeah I like Tajm, I use it with a few of my wallpapers. I think it makes my homepage look pretty elegant.

The sound quality turned to crap after Froyo.

I didn't notice that on my Nexus One running Froyo.. I hope I don't notice it once I get the update on my Epic :/

Hopefully by the time you get the update for your Epic, it will be patched. Google has already come up with a fix, it's up to the carriers and phone manufacturers to implement it though. I'm using a custom ROM on my Evo that has the fix and it works/sounds great again.

Any word on when the Epic gets the update?

I would assume if you don't get it by the end of this month that it will come shortly thereafter. I know they have been beta testing it so the final product can't be too far off.
