iPhoto and Galaxy S3?
I have been trying all week to find an app that allows me to easily syn iphoto with my galaxy s3 - so far i have had no luck at all.
Double twist doesnt appear to work, all i get is a blank box that comes up with nothing (i think it should be allowing me to select what albums i would like to sync) - it takes forever and get me no where
Every other advertised program that claims to be able do it it involve copy the iphot library and putting it somewhere else. As my library is about 50Gb i dont want to be doing this everytime i want to merge all files.
Does anyone know if its possible to still use iphoto as the primary pic app, have it sync with my s3 and if possible have my camera pics sync back to iphoto when i plug in usb - it doesnt have to be atuomated wifi sync.. PLEASE!?

Well, if you use Samsung kies, why not include that library of photos from your itunes in the library for photos in kies? that way, it will use that same library as a source when syncing. Downside is that you have to definitely use Samsung Kies. It's not a bad application.. just not good.

Yeah, addixed is right. samsung kies is the best option for you... but you can also try contacting the samsung tech support online directly. it may be the best solution but you can also get some helpful tips in navigating through your device

Actually quite easy to get the pics off your phone and into itunes. Plug your phone in. Select the USB notification from the notifications pull down. Check Camera (PTP). Syncing I'm not so sure about.

i have been exploring ways to transfer photos from Samsung Galaxy SII to IPhoto without purchasing or downloading other software and after much headache and failures... I finally found out how....i will do the best I can to explain it...hopefully this will help:
STEP #1--MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE ANDROID FILE TRANSFER ICON ON YOUR PHONE (LITTLE GREEN ANDROID)
STEP #2--MAKE SURE ANDROID SOFTWARE IS ALSO DOWNLOADED ON YOUR MACBOOK PRO...PLACE IT ON YOUR DESKTOP JUST BELOW HARDDRIVE ICON FOR FASTER USE..
STEP #3--CONNECT YOUR GALAXY TO THE MACBOOK PRO USING THE USB DEVICE...YOU SHOULD HEAR IT ENGAGE..IF NOT DOUBLE CLICK THE ANDROID ON THE DESKTOP..A FOLDER SHOULD POP UP ON YOUR DSKTOP WITH A MULTITUDE OF DIFFERENT SUB-FOLDERS FROM YOUR SAMSUNG....
STEP #4--PLACE EITHER A BLANK MEMORY STICK OR SCANDISK READER WITH A BLANK SCANDISK CARD IN THE EXTRA USB SLOT...EITHER ONE SHOULD READ ON YOUR COMPUTER DESKTOP ONCE PLUGGED IN...
STEP#5--ON THE OPEN FOLDER WITH THE DIFFERENT SUB-FOLDERS LOOK FOR DCIM...DOUBLE CLICK ON IT AND IT SHOULD SAY CAMERA...
STEP #6-DRAG CAMERA FOLDER INTO EITHER YOUR MEMORY STICK OR SCANDISK CARD...IT SHOULD START TO COPY...ONCE COMPLETED, CLICK ON MEMORY STICK OR SCANDISK ICON...IT SHOULD SHOW PHOTO DATA..YOU CAN ALSO CLICK ON THE FOLDER AND SEE ALL YOUR INDIVIDUAL PICTURES...
STEP #7---DRAG THE COPIED FOLDER FROM THE MEMORY STICK OR SCANDISK CARD TO IPHOTO...IT SHOULD IMMEDIATELY START TAKING AND IMPORTING THE PHOTOS...
I HOPE THIS HELPED...SORRY IF I DIDN'T DESCRIBE IT JUST RIGHT...I JUST KNOW THAT IT WORKS!! THE KEY SECRET IS THE MEMORY STCK OR SCANDISK CARD AND READER..
