    Angry Same Email Address On 2 Devices Resulting In Notification Failure

    Hi,

    I own a Samsung S4 and my dad has an iPhone. We share an e-mail account which is linked to both phones. Now, I suspect that when he opens an e-mail in the inbox, the message is shown as 'read' on my device also. This is frustrating because the push notification I am supposed to receive doesn't appear (or appears but not long enough for me to notice because my dad has read the mail already) and as a result I can't keep up with important information.

    I am using the stock android e-mail app, is there anyway to prevent this?

    I have my email going to multiple devices with no issues. You may want to check the setting to see if your notifications are set properly.
