    REASONS NOT TO ROOT:

    • You are 100% satisfied with everything about your phone as it, in its bone stock state; and have no interest in exploring other options.
    • You don't care about actually understanding the technology you purchased and are content being an average user.
    • You don't want to improved your battery life or make your phone faster.
    • You don't want any of the apps on the market that require root access.
    • You are petrified of any type of trouble shooting on your own.
    • You love all the blur and bloatware on the phone and have no interest in removing any of it.
    • You have mistakenly confused your android phone for an iPhone
    • You have mistakenly confused the term open-source to mean proprietary
    • You are a goody-two shoes and want to play by the rules
    • You like being told what to do
    • You use your phone as a hat
I like this. its nothing .
But sometimes the solution is not so simple, especially if at the root of the problem lurks a computer virus
I this not follow the computer root and cell phone root relationship but this really learn new things.

I used the super one click on my first droid and it installed some files but did not reboot my phone. I looked in apps and found the super user app but it said my phone was not rooted, so i rebooted and the phone would not go past the Samsung screen. I think because i have an epic 4g. So my question is does this software work on my epic froyo ec05?

Well i threw caution to the wind and installd z4 and ran both temp and permanent root. It killed my 3g and slowed my phone to a crawl without giving me root access. I just want wifi tether, is that asking too much? Because i know $29 a month is!.
