I was assimilated into The Network so I can rule the air Aug 18 1993, the day after a tornado came thru the area killed some folks and I couldn't leave work(roads were not drivable) or get in touch with my family( landlines down ) until a nice man let me use his cell phone about 7 hours later.
I was at Circuit City the next morning when they opened and bought my first phone for $300 (Nokia 100) on sale .

Ya know... That is probably the only company I know of that has competently changed names, and not had a single billing issue. I had a Nextel phone when Sprint bought them, and my God... Billing hell!

Currently AT&T, was with Cingular when they got bought out. Before that was with T-Mobile then AT&T, but switched as they
didn't have as good of coverage in my area as Cingular. Also have had android phones on Verizon and Sprint for a short time

TMO over a dacade...only complaints are signal in rural areas, and downtown Fi-Di/inside buildings...never a real billing issue, since they always accomodate my request.

VZW for me. I had T-Mobile for about 6 years but when I was given a VZW work phone, I dropped them. But just having that VZW work phone for a few years made me get a personal line with VZW as well.
To me, clowns aren't funny. In fact, they're kind of scary. I've wondered where this started and I think it goes back to the time I went to the circus, and a clown killed my dad.
