Way, Way Too Many Choices Out There

    Hi Everybody,

    I have a N1 Froyo 2.2.1 Cyanogenmod 6.1.1 on T-Mobile.

I want to give it to my wife and get a new phone.

I'm online all day, use all that is google and lots of apps, down- and up-load like a fool, take pictures, record and watch videos, and sometimes even make a call.

What should I get, or wait for?

    Thanks.

Are you planning on staying with T-Mobile?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, it would be easiest to stay with T-Mobile for now as I have a family plan and one of the lines won't be off contract for several months.

There's a few good smartphones coming to Tmo like

    Samsung Galaxy S2
    Nexus S
    G2
    Mytouch 4G

For T-Mobile I'd suggest the G2, or the Nexus S... both Google Experience phones.

If you're looking for something with a dual-core, MWC '11 is supposed to bring some awesome new GSM hardware from several major vendors. Like that Galaxy S2 Wicked linked.

I'd stay away from Samsung as their notoriously bad with pushing updates to devices. Just my opinion however.

The device themselves are fine, but you'll be last to get updates.

T-Mobile has some good choices... and I thought I saw something about a dual core HTC device headed that way... I'm drawing a blank right now however.

If I was on T-Mo I'd be all over the Nexus S.
