    Battery temperature

Just wondering what kind of temps are safe? Usually mine is always below 100 but yesterday I got it to 107 after some moderate use. I'm running PE 5.0.2 with stock kernel. At what point is meltdown?

I'm guessing you're talking Fahrenheit... because Celsius would be burning your face..lol

Under to right under 100F is normal, and a bit over 100F is normal while talking on it or while charging. If it goes above 110-115F though, I think it will automatically stop charging so it can cool back down.

The phone will go to cool down mode at about 120 degrees F. Found that out on the X doing a lot of downloading overclocker to 1480mhz. Dumb mistake cuz I had max and min set at 1480 and forgot to reset it. No damage though

I don't think the Droid 1 has much of a thermal protective circuit without a temperature monitor running.
