my video issue again. still laggy though. and i was being told that 800mhz processor shouldnt have any big issues when playing video. however, even a video with file size 6mb, it is also laggy.
i was advised that it could be background apps, so should kill them. also, i was advised to do a factory reset instead as wel

    your opinion guys?

Factory data reset is an option. What videos are you trying to watch? Do not kill your background apps. Is it youtube videos?

If you're watching or trying to stream HQ vids over 3g it won't work. You need 4g or wifi

    Morning (my local time) friends.
Surprisingly, I have no problems watching Youtube videos.

However, I downloaded videos onto my laptop, and I transfer over to my samsung galaxy ace. I tried to play these videos on my phone, but it lags.

And hmm, I heard there is a default video player in my phone itself, but I don't seem to find it ?

Ok what is the file extension for the videos? How large are the videos? Are they sized for mobile?

Ah ok. Its not as easy as that to drag and drop movies. You need to convert them. I use DVD Catalyst. It's $9.99 but converts any movie to my android devices.

currently I am using flv. used avi, mpeg-4, mkv before as well. All laggy
for now, only those video file size below 6mb won't lag. 6mb and above will lag. The larger the video file size, the laggier it goes. Only the video lag, the sound doesn't lag.
