    This and this

Hey somewhere back there, in a topic called "Ladies and gentlemen we have S-off (whatever) and root!". One sentence says something like, "what about this and this". The "this"is (plural of "this"?) are underlined and in blue. When you click on the "this" or the other "this" a link or a page (whichever it's called) pulls up. How is this magic done?

It's done in the full browser. If you are putting text in and you want to make a word or phrase a link instead of just pasting the link in you type in the text you want, select it, then hit the little icon above the reply box that looks like a globe with a chain link over it. You put the URL or e-mail address you want, click ok, and voila.

You get something that looks like this. If you click this you'll go straight to Google's home page.

    I
    hope this helps.

    Yeah it wasn't the clearest.

First, go to the browser version of ANet. Find/create a thread. Next, start typing something in the reply box if you're replying to a thread.

Now, when you get to what you want to be the linked text you type it in. Now highlight it -- that's the tricky part on a phone -- and then select the little globe with the chain on it. Paste or type the URL into the popup, click OK, and your text will go from looking like this to looking like this.

    I hope that was clearer.

It's on the second row of icons above the reply box. That row begins with the bold/italics/underline box. It's the 4th one over from that.
