I would like to share some tips to increase the battery life of Android: Set display brightness to adjust automatically, Disable Adobe Flash and Reduce e-mail, Twitter, and Facebook polling.

You should be able to disable it in your browser settings or just uninstall the plug-in.

i just installed Optimal Battery Saver.... doesn't forceclose apps..
just regulates network usage. Works well on my samsung S

Yep. Just keep the number of apps and running functions to a minimum when you're looking to conserve battery life. It sucks that you have to do this, but that's the way it is for now, I guess.
