ok well my phone has been very problematic a month after I got it I would have problems but managed to fix them myself
well the otherday my lock button wouldn't turn the screen off and if my screen times out I can't get into my phone because the lock button doesn't work at all
when I hold it down the power off option doesn't pop up and I haven't droped it at all can anyone help

Take it back to the store and ask for a replacement. You should have a 90-day warranty. Your power button appears to be dead. Sorry to break the news.
