Java Based Web Sites

i have a nexus s samsung phone running ics. some of the web sites i visit says need java plug in. how do i get this

I use Firefox Beta for Java heavy sites. Works well. The stock browser can't seem to handle it. You can ensure Java is on for your browser, just to be safe. Open the browser, hit the settings key, go to advanced, and ensure your JavaScript is on.

Press 'menu', 'more', then 'settings'. JavaScript should be there.

i tried javascript is not there. Another friend told me i can not have java on android phone

What browser are you using? Android does support Java. It's actually based on Java.

Then go to settings/content settings in chrome and ensure JavaScript is checked. Remember its still in beta so it will be buggy.
