Screen Stays On
I bought a Samsung Galaxy Y recently, my introduction to the smartphone world. As usual the screen goes off after a few seconds. However, occasionally I look at it when I'm not actively using it and the screen is not turning itself off. If I turn the phone off and then on again it resolves the issue. Does anyone have an idea as to why it stays on in the first place? Thanks.

Try this: settings/display/screen timeout
You should have five or six choices of how long you want the screen to stay live, just choose the time that works best for you.

Thanks. It's fine now. I've just discovered other settings too.
