    Home Screen Icons Changed when SIM Card Removed

    To anyone who can answer this. Why did the icons on my home screen change to the default Android robot for those apps that I have saved to my SD card when I removed the phone's SIM? Thanks very much in advance.

    Since there haven't been any replies to this post yet, I'm going to guess that it has something to do with the permission granted to apps regarding phone state. I will do more research with regards to this.
