Problem With ICS Update

OK so I get a message from ATT informing me that the ICS update is now available for download. Instructions state that I must download KIES and install it before I can get the ICS data. I did all that was required and got to where I attach the Skyrocket to my PC. I was informed to update to the latest version of KIES before proceeding. I did the update. I did the update again and again and again. Each time it stated that I must update to the latest version of KIES before I could proceed with the ICS update. The update was the same each time. At this point I cancelled the update, uninstalled KIES, disconnected my phone and went for a walk. Here I am...

When you make an ICS update a time comes where your device get slow and takes time to restart. You will notice an white screen that remains for few minutes. Make sure that you let the process do it.
