    My X is 4 months old. I have been thinking about upgrading and selling on CL or Ebay, we will see though.
    What's Ebays take. I know that they take some portion of the sales right?

    Yes, they do - and that caught me off guard (I'm sure I overlooked the fine print - this is the first time I've sold on Ebay). They took 9% of my sale - $28.80.

    That's why people are jacking shipping up across the board. You can't tell me charging a set fee for the listing plus a more reasonable 5% wouldn't annoy their seller-base as much.

    I saw an article somewhere about how having monolithic brands like eBay was BAD for the market.
