My client is a major player in the mobile world, they are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Android).


The role of Senior Software Engineer within the platform group are responsible for developing and maintaining a wide understanding of all Linux based platforms and applications used by the organization and its 3rd party suppliers. You will also provide high level technical guidance and architectural design advice.


The Senior Software engineer role requires attendance in supplier meetings, and internal technical, design and planning meetings and provide guidance to all parties on Software architectural issues arising from the projects discussed. An important part of the job will be offering advice on and helping to incubate new projects, which may involve feasibility, design and prototyping work across the complete range of software platforms and applications used by the organisation, its suppliers and customers.
