Take it from someone that knows. Motorola use to be the best in the industry until they moved away most of their facilities and did away with all their real talent. They focused too much on developing mediocre Nextel phones and arre trying their luck thinking they have a clue. I believe it is too late for any new OS for a phone and if they were smart they would utilize what is left of their engineering department to make something worth a damn and not some stupid bogged down OS.
What happened to the Motorola that built the original Droid? You would think that they would try to improve on a shure thing like the OD. I can't figure out why they want to lock their phones tight and steer away from Android after it saved their asses. After making nothing but junk phones for 10 years they're not smart enough to see how the Droid 1 saved them from the brink of self destruction? I thought they finally woke-up and smelled the Android, I guess not.
