On December 17th we shared with you a tease, here, about the Sony Playstation Network Client App for the Android that was coming soon, and although it's not out yet, (darn!) we have an update for you... it looks like its initial launch in parts of Europe will happen in January. The first iteration of the app should be considered a "setting up shop" experience.
The first few features aren't going to knock your socks off, but for Playstation & PSP aficionados it seems pretty cool, nonetheless. You will be able to interact with the PlayStation Network, compare trophies with your friends and check out their online status. Sony PlayStation USA hasn’t said anything about the PlayStation app on their blog yet, but here's hoping they soon will.
