It seems like Samsung has been chasing a ton of security bugs on their devices lately. From the Galaxy S3 to the Galaxy Note we have seen several different security holes they have had to patch over the past 6 months or so. Now there is a new one for the Galaxy Note 2. A lock screen bypass bug has been found on the Android 4.1.2 version of the Galaxy Note 2. This one abuses a security hole while making an Emergency call from the lockscreen. You can see it demonstrated in the video above.

Luckily, Samsung is fully aware of the problem and have indicted they will be forthcoming with a fix just as soon as possible.
