We got off to a slow start this morning because we have been conferring with some of our best sources on a pretty huge exclusive. Sometime this morning one of our best sources tipped us off that a pre-Alpha development version of Android 6.0/Lollipop briefly popped up online but was was quickly yanked. We spent all of the morning trying to track down someone who might have downloaded the file before it was taken off-line. Unfortunately, Google was too quick, so no file seems to exist except somewhere on their now "re-restricted" servers.
Regardless, it's fascinating to see that Google is working hard to crank out the next version of Android already, and what the final name will be. We are still trying to track down the original source of the story so we can host the file if it exists in the wild. We will let you know later today in this thread if we find something. We don't blame you at all for being skeptical of this considering today's date. Still, just for the sake of full disclosure, we posted a source link to the spot which originally had both the download file and the .pdf info doc. Sadly they are just dead links now.
