Several leaked images of the new HTC One Max phablet device have popped up online over the past few months. The most recent one was actually publicly denounced by HTC Senior Global Online Communications Manager Jeff Gordon as a fake. Could this new supposedly leaked pic be the reason why?

In the pic above, the far right device is supposedly the HTC One Max, and the most notable feature is a fingerprint scanner clearly depicted. This could be why Gordon dismissed the previous leaked pic, (because it did not include the fingerprint scanner). Other than the fingerprint scanner, the devices look about the same. Of course, this pic could also be a fake, and the reason Gordon dismissed the previous one is that the HTC One Max could have a completely new design. This seems unlikely considering the popularity of the design on the HTC One. What do you think? Would you like to see a fingerprint scanner show up on your favorite device in the future?
