Motorola's new handset the Moto G will hit U.S. carriers in January, but Motorola is making the phone available starting today for $179 on their website. Right now, they are only offering the unlocked GSM version (contract free) with an unlocked bootloader. The CDMA version will become available this January with carriers.

Moto G specs:

The only downside to this device is that it doesn’t support LTE, but what do you want for $179 contract free?
