This one is going up as rumor, but it may as well be official. @Evleaks has released a pic of a Sony handset going by the designation Xperia Z1S, and all signs point to the Z1S being the "mini" version of Sony's flagship Z1. Since October there's been rumor of a "mini" version of the Z1 hitting the states and @evleaks has pretty much verified the veracity of that rumor.
A quick run down of the specs reveals the Z1S packing a 4.3-inch 720p touchscreen, a 20.7 MP rear shooter, a 2 MP front camera, a 2.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor (MSM8974), 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of on board storage, and a 2,300 mAh battery. It will ship with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. No word on when or if it will be upgraded to Kit Kat, but we'd venture to guess that it will in fact be updated in due time.
