The latest HTC rumor suggests their late 2015 flagship, (the HTC Aero A9), will be announced at the same time as the newest Nexus devices, and will include Android 6.0 Marshmallow "out of the box." If true, this means that September 29th is going to be an exciting day in Android-land. We will see the launch of the Nexus 5X, the Huawei Nexus 6 and the HTC Aero A9. This suggests that HTC has been working a bit more closely with Google on their latest smartphone. Here's a recap of rumored specs for the A9:
  • Mediatek deca-core Helio X20 Soc
  • 5.2-inch QHD display
  • 4GB RAM
  • 3500 mAh battery
  • Android 6.0 Marshmallow

If these specs and Android rumors are true, then the HTC Aero A9 is going to be an impressive device. Don't let that Mediatek CPU concern you, it is likely to be a very powerful new competitor to the other chipset alternatives in the market.
