Motorola Xoom Xooms to Super Bowl by Tackling iPad Specs
Motorola will be trying to tackle Apple and the iPad during the Super Bowl. The Motorola XOOM takes an axe to the Apple regency since 1984 and the original 1984 Apple commercial. The Motorola XOOM seems to be making more goals and touch downs. Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha recently confirmed that the Motorola Xoom will be launched in the end of February or in March.
The ad doesn't point out the the Motorla Xoom has 10.1" widescreen (1280x800) HD touchscreen which is larger than the iPad. Some bloggers suggest that it is unfair to compare the Motorola Xoom to the iPad and that it should be compared to the iPad 2, which is has not been announced yet.
The Motorola Xoom won many awards at CES.
The Motorola XOOM tablet was announced at CES with the new Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system, a dual-core processor with each core running at 1GHz, delivering up to two GHz of processing power, It will first launch at Verizon with 3G and then will upgrade to LTE.
The Motorola XOOM allows users to view HD content, supports 1080p HD video and has an HDMI output.
The Motorola XOOM features a front-facing 2-megapixel camera for video chats over Wi-Fi or 3G/4G LTE, as well as a rear-facing 5-megapixel camera that captures video in 720p HD. Other features include 32GB of storage, SD slot for card support (after a firmware update) and 1GB DDR2 RAM
