Here's some less gloomy news from BGR. Sprint and Google have apparently been working closely together to create a more powerful and more seamless integration of Google Voice. Now, by simply entering your number into your Google Voice account, practically all Sprint wireless subscribers can start using Google Voice immediately without any effort. Their system will know that it’s a Sprint number and you can chose to use it as your Google Voice number. It will even work for international calls automatically! BGR had this to add,
The best part? Google Voice apps aren’t needed anymore, and this works with practically any phone and OS. Android, BlackBerry, feature phones — it doesn’t matter. Any calls or text messages you send from your phone will appear in your Google Voice account, and you’ll be able to place calls or send texts from your Google Voice account online as well.
Wow! That's awesome stuff.
