The FCC has always been a great source for unannounced news on upcoming devices, and today we see the new Xperia Play being shown off. The device was sent in with almost the same features and configurations as its GSM relative with just a CDMA radio included for support with Verizon’s network. The GSM sim slot is still available and the MicroSD card slot was never removed which makes us think this might be running with Qualcomm’s new line of chips that support dual band network. The device might not be able to run on the LTE network Verizon offers, which make make this a little less attractive to some.
