Remember that weirdly shaped device that was debuted by Acer at MWC, well the FCC certainly wonít forget it. The new Android 2.3 powered tablet-phone, yes, we had to make a new word for it, just took a few mug shots with the FCC, went for testing and hopefully will hit the shelves soon --Acer previously promised an April launch date. The device is destined for AT&T with its 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor, 512MB each of ROM and RAM, an 8 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, a 2 megapixel front-facing cam, micro-HDMI output capable of 720p, a 1500mAh user-replaceable battery and all the usual 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1. Did we mention the screen resolution of that 4.8 inch display is a whopping 1024 x 480? Yes, this certainly seems like the most have tablet-phone of the year (even though itís the only).
