Did you think Samsung did their event a little early for no reason? Well think again. Today is LGís big event in South Korea. The now, Android loving manufacturer, is announcing a new line of phone for it's home country, the newest device being the LG Optimus Big (not Optimus Prime). This device has the biggest screen ever put on an LG phone before, 4.3 inches, and has a slightly skinned Android 2.2 as its OS, HDMI output, a 5 megapixel camera, 16GB of built-in storage, not to mention a blazing fast 1 GHz dual core processor to keep it going strong. The big news about this device is it will have the still unavailable LG Nova display, which gives brightness unmatched by any other at 700 nits. The LG WiFi Direct, which allows you to connect to other devices with the software over WiFi. The device becomes official and beings selling today, so for all you lucky South Koreanís, I wish I was you at this moment.
