Here's a follow-up story to one of our posts yesterday. It would seem that the engineers at HTC have figured out how to "cram" Gingerbread on the HTC Desire, and they shared the details on their Facebook page. Apparently, the problem with getting Gingerbread on the Desire, was a memory storage issue, so they will literally have to "stuff" the Gingerbread update onto the device by eliminating some of the apps already there. Previous speculation pegged the technical problems to be RAM related, but that turned out to be untrue. No word yet on how soon they will make it happen, but we will keep you updated.
