    Samsung Galaxy S 4G Gets Gingerbread 2.3.3 Leak


    Owners of the Galaxy S 4G phone will be happy to know that their is a leaked version of Gingerbread 2.3.3 out on the interwebs now. Besides the fact that you get to run the most advanced version of Google's smartphone OS, early reports indicate that it also improves battery life on the phone significantly. That's "energizing" news. Below is the source link to the instructions and download links. Make sure you know what you are doing and be careful, and try at your own risk.

    Gingerbread has, overall, SIGNIFICANTLY improved the battery life of the whole Galaxy S line. My normal ROM users are getting like 40+ hours of regular (not light) use off of one charge... more than doubling the normal battery life under Eclair/Froyo. It's amazing really.
