I wonder what the quality of the sliding hardware is? Every keyboard phone I have owned has rubbed the keys and the rail system eventually became loose. I would love to get a look at that screen.

Does Global mean Gsm or CDMA? Or both?

Both. Verizon is CDMA-only. Also, the keyboard is of extremely high quality, though you may not like the feel of the keys. When an OEM stresses how thin a slider phone is, the keyboard feel is usually the victim. I haven't had a single key come loose or rub at all. In fact, the more I use the keyboard the more the keys start feeling like actual keys and not slight bumps.

Still, you'll get used to it no matter what -- or just stick to the virtual keyboards.
