Sensation 4G Bug #3; touchscreen issue
It seems that some random issues are popping up regarding the hardware of the HTC Sensation 4G. The latest bug that has been seen on the device is the one demoed in the video above. Apparently there's an issue with the touchscreen/software when pressing the bottom of the screen. The touchscreen also doesn't handle your first touches very well, so when you first press it, you'll get almost no reaction until the second time you touch it. This is probably an issue with either the software not being fine tuned, or the hardware having a sleep issue.
Do we have any Sensation4G owners out there can confirm this problem?

I have no touch screen responsiveness issues at all. Unlocked at least 15 or 20 times and no problems like in the video. I do have a brand new one though, have already replaced it once due to INSANE overheating issues. Maybe its a lemon?

Alphawave will be able to give his take. He has two of these.
What is INSANE overheating? Could you give an example?

Neither of my units show this, and I've been curiously following the issue in several fora. Thankfully, it seems isolated, but frustratingly complex to find the cause. Some feel the
Sense rom itself is to blame, others think it's a grounding issue during charging, others suspect hardware not software, but possibly a software fix would work...as you see, it is all over the map. BTW, heat is never good. Grab a multimeter or borrow from a techie friend and check the unloaded voltage from your adapter. It should be slightly higher than 12 volts and should drop to 12 with a load. If it reads OVER 15 volts without a load, I'd junk it...it will be trying to pump that extra voltage to the device when charging completes, with that translating to heat. These are supposed to be switched-transformer adapters and typically reliable, but when you do get a bad one, it can fry your device.
