Merge And More Available For U.S. Cellular Pre-Paid

The HTC Merge has been rumored for Verizon since the T-Mobile G2 was released. Now, after making it to U.S. Cellular, the pre-paid version is available. This new pre-paid HTC Merge comes with the same features the normal version comes with. The device is global-ready with a 3.8-inch touch screen, a slide out QWERTY keyboard, and Android 2.2. The Merge will be priced very nicely at $299.99, and thankfully, will not be alone. U.S. Cellular is also adding The Gem, with its 3.2 inch WQVGA display and 800 MHz processor, to the list of available devices. The device will be priced competitively at $139.99.
