Sony Ericsson may not have seen as much success with Android as several of the other players, like HTC, Motorola and Samsung, but that doesn't mean we should count them out. They apparently still want to push forward with Android and we applaud them for that. The more competition there is in the marketplace, the better every Android will be. Previously, we reported about the new Sony Ericsson Nozomi, and today we have some more info on the device.

Supposedly, in March of 2012, SE plans to release the flagship Android device with some very impressive features. The phone will be running Android Ice Cream Sandwich, will sport a dual-core 1.5GHz processor with 1GB of RAM, and will really push the envelope in both screen and camera technology. The phone is said to come with a 4.3-inch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, resulting in a massive 342 pixels per inch! They are also including a 12MP Exmor R sensor camera! This will be the biggest yet for an SE-made handset, and one of the biggest ever on an Android phone. The phone will also come with 32GB of built-in memory, and feature a 1750mAh battery.

It looks as if Sony Ericsson is tired of being the underdog in the Android world and is really investing in improved phones. This news comes after several new mid-range Android phones have been announced with impressive aesthetics, like the "Live with Walkman" Android phone, the Xperia Neo V, and the Xperia Arc S.

Both the Xperia Arc S and the Neo V, are gorgeous phones. If this new flagship has similar looks, they may have a real "hit" on their hands. What do you guys think... can SE make a comeback?
