Sprint, and most people that use it, know that WiMax really does not have that great of a future, and come the first half of 2012, they are switching to LTE. The guys at Cnet got their hands on some details about Sprint's upcoming event regarding network changes. Apparently Sprint has already been quietly working on bringing their customers LTE, and so its a matter of time till they turn on the switch.
The report said Sprint, using the spectrum they acquired from buying Nextel, will run a similar setup as Verizon. This means incredible fast downloads and upload speeds, and if you add that with Sprint's truly unlimited pledge, you're looking at a great data future.
