T-Mobile Announces Several New Plans: a Monthly Plan and a few Daily Plans

T-Mobile seems to want to cater to the folks that do not like to restricted. They just announced some new data & calling plans. The first is a new monthly plan that is $60 per month and gives you unlimited talk, text, and data. It's important to note that the first 2GB of data are accessible at TMo's 4G speed, but the rest are throttled down to 2G speeds.

The other plans they announced are actually several different daily plans:

• $3 per day for unlimited talk, text, and data with the first $200MB at 4G speeds
• $2 per day for unlimited talk, text, and data at 2G speeds
• $1 per day for unlimited text, and $0.10 per minute talk

My present service with T-Mobile has gone down in quality, noticeably since the announcement of the merger. I will be dropping my T-Mobile plan when the contract is up. I originally went with T-Mobile because of the reputation for good customer service, not for the poor service usually associated with ATT. Seems to me that they decided to take on the ATT persona early.
