Since, the Ice Cream Sandwich source code was released, LG has been busy testing so they can determine which of their phones will get the ICS goodness. So far they have officially confirmed that the LG Optimus LTE, the Optimus Black, and the Optimus 3D will all receive ICS at some point in the future. This is in addition to their previous announcement of the LG Optimus 2X getting ICS. They didn't confirm a time-frame, but this is better than nothing. Here is the official statement from their Facebook page,
LG confirms today that the Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) OS will be initially available for the following high-end LG smartphones which were introduced this year: the Optimus 2X, the Optimus Black, the Optimus 3D and the Optimus LTE. We are also continuing to evaluate the ICS OS to determine whether it is compatible with the functionality, features and performance of other LG smartphones to make the ICS OS available on as many LG smartphones as possible.

In December this year, the forthcoming upgrade schedule and additional specific models for the ICS OS upgrade will be posted on our LG Mobile Global Facebook page (LG Mobile | Facebook) and on our local LG websites. Please stay tuned for more updates from LG.
Do any of our members have any of these phones? Sound off in the forums.
