Some rumors floating around the web seem to give us some new details on a couple of Verizon phones coming early next year. Both of these rumored phones will likely be the first Verizon 4G LTE Global phones to come to market. One is the LG Spectrum. More than likely, this phone is a Verizon version of the LG Nitro HD that launched for AT&T earlier this month. Here is the fairly respectable spec list (especially for an LG product):
  • 4.5″ HD screen
  • 1.5GHz dual-core processor
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 8 megapixel camera with 1080p video

The rumors do not reveal much about the HTC Fireball. More than likely it will be a mid-range product, and its specs should fall somewhere between the HTC Thunderbolt and the HTC Rezound. What's ironic is that the Motorola Droid RAZR actually has a GSM radio inside, but (so far) nothing has been done to make the phone "global-ready". We should find out more about these devices at CES in January.
