We may see the official launch of the HTC One X in the U.S. as early as April 4th. A new report shares that both Sprint and HTC are planning to hold a joint press event on that date, and the industry speculation is that they will be officially announcing a flagship device. In fact, Sprint CEO Dan Hesse and HTC President Jason Mackenzie will both be at the event. This increases the likelihood that the event is designed to showcase a Sprint version of the HTC One X.
Earlier rumors peg the launch of the device at June 10th, but if it is announced this early, we could see it sooner than that. The HTC One X looks to be an impressive device, and would one of Sprintís first LTE-enabled devices. The U.S. version will features a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, a 4.6-inch high-definition display and a class-leading 8-megapixel camera powered by HTCís dedicated ImageChip. It looks like HTC is really trying to get back in the game after their depressing results from the end of last year.
How many of you guys are holding out for this device?
