According to this supposed leaked internal document (shown above), Sprint's new LG Viper 4G LTE phone could come as early as April 22nd. Here's a spec refresh:
  • 4-inch WVGA touch-screen
  • Android 2.3, known as Gingerbread (soon to upgrade to ICS)
  • 1.2GHz dual-core processor
  • microSD card slot
  • 32GB of storage
  • 5-megapixel camera on the back and a VGA camera up front
  • NFC

This looks pretty impressive. We have some pretty high-end specs for a mid-range device that will retail for just $100 bucks. Supposedly, this is also the world's first "green" phone. In fact, here are its "green" street creds:
  • is UL Environment (ULE) Platinum Certified, the highest environmental performance recognized by the ULE and Sprint.
  • is constructed from 50 percent recycled plastics.
  • comes with a charger that only consumes 0.03 watts of power when itís plugged into the wall but not a phone.
  • comes in packaging that contains up to 87 percent post-consumer paper, uses soy ink, is made with a glueless construction and is 100 percent recyclable.
  • is RoHS-compliant (referring to the Restriction of Hazardous Substances directive), and thus is free of hazardous stuff like PVC, phthalates, halogens and mercury.

What do you guys think? Is this one on your radar?
