New Video Shows Tegra 3 Version of HTC One X Outperforming the S4 Version
The above video shows some interesting results with an HTC One X (Tegra 3 quad-core version) pitted against the HTC One XL (AT&T Snapdragon S4 version). For some time now, we have seen several benchmarks between these two versions of the same phone, and in almost every case, the S4 version on AT&T beats the Tegra 3 version. However, in the above test, the Tegra 3 version actually boots faster, and it beats the S4 version significantly in an AnTuTu benchmark, with a score of 9713 vs. 5640. Impressive to say the least!
It's important to note that even though the Tegra 3 chip did out-perform the S4 in bootup and in this particular benchmark, that doesn't necessarily mean that the NVIDIA chip is faster in all benchmarks, so this does not invalidate any of the info we have seen earlier. In fact, it is well known that the Tegra 3 has faster graphics than the S4. Still, it's worth noting for those who are considering either of these phones, and it means that both of these chips are perfectly suited to high-performance, so you can't really go wrong with either of them. Kudos to both Qualcomm and NVIDIA!

It's what's known as a SoC (system on a chip) it ontins the processor and graphics processor.
