HTC One X Gets an Early and Mostly Functional Build of CyanogenMod 9

For those HTC One X users who prefer a more stock build of Android, especially with Ice Cream Sandwich, you will be pleased by this morning's news. Some folks on the CyanogenMod Team have an early build of their custom ICS ROM for the phone, and it is looking really good. In fact, this ROM for the HTC One X is mostly functional already. It is important to note that it has only been tested on the Tegra 3 version of the device, so U.S. users with the Snapdragon S4 version may want to wait.

It's also important to note, this is technically not an "official" build from the CM9 team yet, although it is coming from TripNRaVeR of the TripNDroid. There is no word on when an official version will come. The only thing not working is the camera and Wi-Fi hotspot features. Also, CM9 for the One X remaps the multitasking button to start menu and multitasking is brought up by holding the home button.
