The HTC One X and the Sprint version of it, the HTC EVO 4G LTE, are officially past all of their legal hurdles now. They have been cleared by customs and are on their way into the hands of consumers. Here's HTC's official statement on the matter:

“HTC has completed the review process with US Customs and HTC devices have been released, as they are in compliance with the ITC’s ruling. Future shipments should continue to enter the US and we are confident that we will soon be able to meet the demand for our products.“
It's funny how if you look at the big picture, Apple spent millions of dollars in legal bills to stop or slow down the release of some of these HTC and other brand's devices. In the end, with some slight modifications to software, the phones still make it into consumer's hands a couple weeks late. That can't possibly be cost effective for Apple...
