Samsung Reports that They Have Already Sold Over 10 Million Galaxy S III Smartphones

Well, that was quick. Samsung reported to the Korean news agency, Yonhap, that they have already sold 10 Million Galaxy S III smartphones. This means they have already out-paced sales of their previous flagship, the Galaxy S II, by a factor of over two to one. The SGS2 sold 10 Million units in about five months. The SGS3 has hit that same number in about two months. This amounts to about 190,000 SGS3's sold every day.

Samsung projects this trend to continue through the third quarter, and anticipate selling twice that number by the end of the year, even after the iPhone 5 is released later in the fourth quarter.
